Just got back from Stein am Rhein, a beautiful village in the far north part of Switzerland in the canton of Schaffhausen and right on the Rhine river as it flows from east to west in this part of the country.

Reckoned by many to be the most beautiful village in Switzerland (there's quite a bit of competition!), Stein turned out to have lots of photographic possibilities. The region would be worth a second visit to look into some of the interesting backwaters and to get to grips with the amazing Rheinfalls. I'm convinced that the village has many opportunities for interesting night shots as well. Just have to find the time to go back ...
